Project Meeting

Annual meeting and control for the project LIFE11 ENV/GR/942 oLIVE-CLIMA “Introduction of new oLIVE crop management practices focused on CLIMAte change mitigation and adaptation”, will be held in Messinia on 4th and 5th of June.
On 4th and 5th of June, 2015 the annual meeting and control for the project LIFE11 ENV/GR/942 oLIVE-CLIMA “Introduction of new oLIVE crop management practices focused on CLIMAte change mitigation and adaptation” will be held at Chora Messinias, at the premises of Farmers’ Organization NILEAS.
The project OLIVE – CLIMA regards the application of environmentally friendly cultivation practices in olive parcels, hence contributing to the mitigation of climate change and to adaptation to new climatic conditions.
The Meeting will focus on the project’s progress and control of its financial aspects.
ANATOLIKI S.A. is the Lead Partner of the project. Other entities participating in the projects are NAGREF – ELGO DEMETER (Institute for Olive Tree & Subtropical Plants of Chania, Soil Science Institute of Athens, Land Reclamation Institute), University of Basilicata/ Department of European and Mediterranean Culture (DICEM), Rodax Agro Ltd, Agrotypos, NILEAS – Agricultural Cooperative for Standardized Products-Messinia, Union of Agricultural Cooperatives of Peza, Union of Agricultural Cooperatives of Mirabello.
The project is implemented with the contribution of the LIFE + financial instrument of the European Union.
