During 2013, the project olive crop management practices were initiated in the 3 farmers groups in Peza, Meramvellos and Nileas.
1. Olive tree pruning for enhanced photosynthetic performance
2. Shredding of pruned wood and distribution on olive grove surface
3. Composting of olive tree branches, leaves and olive mill waste for recycling in the olive groves
